SafetyNests
The 5 groups of SafetyNests are the GOURDS, the ALPHA A-Frames, HORIZ (horizontal) models as well as the VERSATS (the versatile ones) that can be hung, or fixed, at any angle, anywhere and the NATURA models which look so-natural when hung from trees in gardens. These durable, field-tested designs offer many atractive choices to the convervationist and breeder as well as to the species themselves. Safety is of paramount importance and with these models you get safety because of the impervious (hygienic) materials used and the special climate-control features --- and also in the fact that SafetyNests can be hung well away from climbing and jumping predators. They all have 'selectable'-size entrance holes and this adds to their attractiveness and safety --- it keeps the larger competitor and predators out --- and reassures the 'selected' specie.
ALPHA A-FRAME
An easy to assemble flat kit that combats over-heating and presents the least surface to the over-head sun. Also gives the best run-off of rain and snow. In impervious, light-weight materials*, 200 mm (8 inches) square and 400 mm high. The entrance is about 70 mm (2 3/4 inches) square. ( An adjustable round hole can also be supplied.) Opens easily for inspection. *These materials save trees.
