HORIZ SafetyNests
These SafetyNests hang horizontally from dropper wires in trees and aviaries. ( For all cavity-nesting birds they should be hung well away from tree trunks and walls; safely away from climbing, jumping predators.) Essentially, they are cylinders of hygienic and durable, recycled PVC with non-toxic ends that simulate the knot holes of old trees. The 150 mm and the 300 mm diameter models can be supplied in any length to suit.

END PLATES
150mm END PLATES (pair) in cement-with-fillers compound they look like knot holes on old trees. The 50 mm (2 inch) spout adjusts to 25 mm (1 1/2 inch). These E.Ps. fit 150mm (6 inch) I.D. PVC pipe. 300 mm END PLATES (pair). In lightweight metal these 300mm END PLATES fit 300 mm I.D. PVC pipes, which can be of any length.
SPOUTS
These Spouts fit the 150 mm (6 inch) END PLATES. The Short Angled Spout keeps bad weather and most predators out. The Long Spout is 250 mm (10 inches). It fits inside the Short Angled Spout. (You will need this Short Angled Spout, also).
HORIZ HS 150/250.
The PVC case for the HORIZ HS is 150 mm diameter by 250 mm long, (6 inches by 10 inches) or longer*. The entrance hole in the front End Plate can be adjusted down from 50 to 25 mm (2 inches to 1 inch). For finches, pardalotes and small parrots and other small-size wildlife. *Tell us what you need.
HORIZ HSDC 150/250.
The same size as the HS but with a double cavity, -- a cradle that floats free of walls for better insulation and humidity control -- the HSDC will best confront the worst extremes of weather and all those attendant health risks. This design offers more options in caring to the truly concerned conservationist and breeder. For small creatures it’s the best.
HORIZ HM 150/500.
A longer HORIZ, 150 mm in diameter and 375 or 500 mm (15 and 20 inches) in length. The entrance hole adjusts down from 50 to 25mm (2 to 1 inch) for the medium-size to small parrots, kingfishers and other cavity-nesting wildlife. The rear Plate swings opens for inspection and cleaning. ( For wildlife other than birds SafetyNests can be fixed to trees and walls --- but to protect birds, hang them only from dropper wires.)
HORIZ HL300.
A big SafetyNest, 300 mm in diameter and 600 mm in length (12 inches by 24 inches) --- or longer*. The hardened entrance hole adjusts from 120 mm to 60 mm (4 3/4 to 2 3/8 inch). The hygienic, durable case can be any length.
